Vision 2030 - The RPS Strategic Plan
Who Is Involved
At the beginning of this process, a Strategic Planning Steering Committee was formed and focus groups were created that touched on all demographics of the District, including residents, teachers, Village leaders, business owners, students and more.
Led by Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), these groups are actively engaging in the Strategic Planning Initiative.
Public Outreach
The district emailed all Ridgewood Public Schools families and posted on all District social media accounts to provide the community with background information on the strategic planning initiative. The email invited all stakeholders to engage in this initiative by completing a community survey and attending a public information session.
In addition, articles were written in TAPinto, The Patch, Ridgewood Magazine, and The Ridgewood Blog.
Focus Groups Schedule - September 2024
All elements of the Public School Community were invited to participate in focus groups to discuss their input on the new Strategic Plan. Nearly 150 people participated in the groups; more than 1700 individuals responded to the survey.
