2024-2025 District Professional Development Goals

1. All educators will build capacity for advancing the goals of the RPS Strategic Plan for Teaching and Learning. Specifically, teachers will continue the development of common shared outcomes through the articulation of proficiencies and "Habits of Work” across content areas and grade levels.

   Additional directed professional development supports will be offered to facilitate the five-year cycle of curricular initiatives.

2. All educators will build capacity for advancing the goals of the RPS Strategic Plan for Culture and Community. Specifically, practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion will be examined, and efforts to advance our growth in this area will be an area of focus for the district.

3. All educators will continue to build capacity for advancing the goals of the RPS Strategic Plan for Culture by fostering student well-being through a commitment to social-emotional learning as an integral component of student health and achievement.
